COVID-19 Weekly Update – April 10, 2020
April 10, 2020 During these difficult times, we appreciate the continued strength of our relationships with you, as we all respond to the challenges posed by the coronavirus. Our top priority remains the health and safety of our employees and that of our customers’ and suppliers’ employees. We hope that you and your employees’ families are safe and healthy. As we continue to follow best practices for cleanliness and safe distancing, we will also be implementing additional measures based on the Governor of New Jersey’s Executive Order No. 122, which goes into effect at 8 pm today, April 10th. These include, but are not limited to: · Requiring workers and visitors to wear cloth face coverings, in accordance with CDC recommendations, while on the premises except where doing so would inhibit the individual’s health. · Requiring workers and visitors to wear gloves while in the workplace. · Ames will be providing face coverings and gloves for all employees (as available). · Visitors who refuse to wear a cloth face covering for non-medical reasons shall not be permitted entry to the worksite. As stated last week, in our April 3rd update, we are still happy to report that not one of our Ames employees has any symptoms nor has any one of our employees tested positive for the coronavirus. Thankfully, we continue to operate with minimal impacts from this virus. Ames sincerely appreciates you, our customers, for its continued support through these tumultuous times. Stay safe. Please contact ames@amescorp.com with any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Ames Rubber Corporation Chuck Roberts President and Chief Executive Officer |
