Ames Rubber Corporation continues to support government efforts to mitigate COVID-19.
As you may know, the State of NJ signed executive No. #107 directing a statewide “Stay at Home” order and closure of all non-essential retail businesses. The order also mandates that all businesses accommodate their workforce for telework or work-from-home arrangements wherever practical.
Ames Rubber Corporation performs essential services for the Defense, Healthcare, Safety & Personal Protection, Electrical Distribution, and Office Automation Industries. This is evident in the letters received by our customers. Ames essential services include the manufacture of products / components critical to the continued supply and support of products used by and in:
Defense: Military Aircraft Propulsion Systems (Jet Engines)
Healthcare: Operating Room Sterilization / Organization Components
Safety & Personal Protection: Military Masks, Emergency Service / First Responder Masks
Electrical Distribution – High-Voltage: Resistors, Insulators, Connectors
Office Automation – Copiers, Printers and Plotters: Rollers
The industries listed above are critical to the health and safety of the American people, those who support and protect them and the Nation as a whole. To that end, Ames is maintaining normal operations.
As seen in other organizations, we are faced with the same challenges of the fear caused by COVID-19. We are doing our best to think of creative ways to support our customer product needs. Additionally, we remain actively engaged with both our suppliers and our customers as this situation evolves. Recently, we were able to help a supply chain partner re-open their doors for business by providing them with a letter regarding “essential business status”. Also, we have been responding to increase of demand requests, particularly from the respirator industry, to help support our customer’s government proposals. Please continue to stay in close communication with Ames as it will only prove beneficial to all parties involved.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during these difficult times and ask that you update us on your critical product / component requirements as often as possible. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns.
